What is a Full Time Employee?

Depending on the definition in the relevant Modern Award that applies, generally a full-time employee is an employee who works at least thirty eight (38) hours per week, and if required, reasonable additional hours.

Full time employees are generally entitled to annual leave and personal carers leave, and a range of other entitlements as specified in the National Employment Standards and the applicable Modern Award.
